How to trouble shoot connectivity issues with Symantec Endpoint Protection Clients and Servers

To check if the client has any settings at all go to:

Help and Support -> Trouble Shooting -> You will see that status on the right hand side

To use the sylinkmonitor tool go to:

Help and Support -> Trouble Shooting -> Debug Logs

Under Client Management, Click -> Edit Debug Log Settings -> Check Debug On 

Set Debug Level to 1, Log Level to 1, and leave the log size at 256.

Click Ok, Click Close.

Click Start -> Run -> Type smc -stop ->  Open syslinkmonitor -> Click Start -> Run -> Type smc -start

You should start seeing information now show up in the monitor.
