How do I get rid of all these extra channels in my DIRECTV guide

Menu -> Settings & Help -> Favorite Channel Lists -> Choose a List

Change Current Favorites to "Channels I Get"

You may have to go to Channels I get first and let it scan for which ones you receive.

You can also set up custom guides if you want from this menu screen also.
