I kept getting this error message after installing and configuring NIS.
I ended up figuring out that firewalld was blocking it. It was also causing ssh and other services to connect really slow.
For now I just did:
systemctl stop firewalld
systemctl disable firewalld
At some point I'll figure out the rule.
