User login always creates a temp profile when logging into Windows 7

Renamed the user profile and the user then always logs in with a temporary profile.  This is how to fix that:

Open Registry and navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

Highlight each item until you notice your username under profileimagepath C:\users\jsmith

Delete that and reboot.  User login now creates a new profile.
